Instructions
Tools Needed:
- Wheels Manufacturing Centerlock Socket
- ⅜ Ratchet wrench or torque wrench
Optional:
Removal Instructions:
- Insert the Wheels Manufacturing Centerlock Socket into the ratchet wrench or torque wrench.
- Optional; thread ⅜ acme rod into the socket. Slide the rod through the hub and secure the socket and rod by securely placing the Adjustable Press Stop Mini onto the threaded rod on the opposite side of the hub.
- Align the center of the socket with the center of the rotor lockring.
- Push the socket onto the centerlock lockring on the rotor.
- Apply downward pressure on the socket to ensure it is fully seated onto the centerlock lockring.
- Turn the socket counterclockwise to loosen the centerlock lockring.
- Once the centerlock lockring is fully loosened, carefully remove it from the rotor and set it aside.
- Remove the rotor from the wheel.
Installation Instructions:
- To re-install the rotor, align it with the wheel hub and slide it onto the hub until it is fully seated.
- Place the centerlock lockring onto the center of the rotor.
- Insert the Wheels Manufacturing Centerlock Socket into the ratchet wrench or torque wrench.
- Optional; thread ⅜ acme rod into the socket. Slide the rod through the hub and secure the socket and rod by securely placing the Adjustable Press Stop Mini onto the threaded rod on the opposite side of the hub.
- Align the center of the socket with the center of the centerlock lockring.
- Push the socket onto the centerlock lockring.
- Apply downward pressure on the socket to ensure it is fully seated onto the centerlock lockring.
- Turn the socket clockwise to tighten the centerlock lockring.
- Use a torque wrench to tighten the centerlock lockring to the manufacturer's recommended torque specification.
