Introducing the WM Solo-XD: The Ultimate Single Speed Conversion Kit
Introducing the WM Solo-XD: The Ultimate XD Single Speed Conversion Kit
Are you a single-speed rider or simply looking to simplify your bike's gearing? Well, we've got some exciting news for you! Wheels Manufacturing is thrilled to announce our latest innovation, the Solo-XD conversion kit. Designed to transform your SRAM-XD/XDR driver-equipped wheels into a reliable and adjustable single-speed setup, the Solo-XD is set to revolutionize the way you ride.
The Solo-XD features a clever design that utilizes a base sleeve, which easily slides onto the XD freehub body, mimicking the process of installing a cassette. Once the base sleeve is in place, you can effortlessly slide the spacers and cog over it, securing everything with a reliable lock ring. This innovative mechanism ensures a secure and hassle-free installation process.
At Wheels Manufacturing, we understand that upgrading your entire wheelset to embrace the single-speed lifestyle can be a significant investment. That's why we've developed the Solo-XD conversion kit, offering a premium cost-effective alternative without compromising on performance. With the Solo-XD, you can easily convert your existing SRAM-XD driver-equipped wheels into a high-quality single speed system. No need to buy a whole new wheelset - simply install the Solo-XD and unlock a whole new level of cycling enjoyment.
But don't just take our word for it. We're stoked to have teamed up with local single-speed enthusiast Sheldon Thomson, who is currently putting our Solo-XD to the test in the upcoming Unbound Gravel race. In a recent article by The Pros Closet, Sheldon shared his bike setup with the Solo-XD. His feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. Check out the full article here to learn more about Sheldon's journey with the Solo-XD.
We're aiming to launch the Solo-XD within the next three months, so mark your calendars for late August or early September 2023. The kit will be offered in 7 color options and available with 16, 18, and 20-tooth narrow-wide cogs.
