The BB30-SHIM adapts 24mm Spindle Cranks (Shimano, FSA, etc.) to work on BB30 frames

Simply tap the adapters into the 6806 bearing in the BB shell, install the spindle and cranks. Use our BB30 spacer kit to adjust your chainline, or take up any side-to-side movement in your cranks.

BB30-SHIM Adapter Installation

  1. Confirm that all clips & bearings are installed into BB30 bottom bracket shell.
  2. Start inserting adapters into bottom bracket bearings by hand.
  3. Seat adapters using a rubber mallet.
  4. Install crank spindle through adapters and tighten per manufacturer’s instructions.
  5. Take up any play in your cranks with our BB30-SPC spacers. Place the spacers as shown below.
