This conversion kit allows you to run 7 speed cogs and shifters for use on a Shimano 8/9 speed freehub body. Simply use your 7 speed cogset and insert these spacers between each cog. This spacer kit is exactly the right size to fill up the space where your nonexistent 8th cog would go.
