Conversion Cassette Rework (Customer Provides Us Their Own Cassette)

These conversion kits allow you to convert an existing 9 speed Ultegra or Dura Ace cassette to be used as either a 9 or 10 speed (not both at the same time) Campagnolo compatible cassette for use on a Shimano 8/9 speed freehub body.

How do I send in a cassette?

Simply mail or ship us the entire cassette along with $50 for machining costs plus $8 for UPS back to you. We need about 10-14 business days to finish the work. Shipping time is normally 3-5 days back to you via UPS. You can include your credit card number with your order if you would rather do it that way. It will be charged when the items are sent back. Make sure to include a note that you would like this converted to a 10 speed compatible cassette.

SHIFT 5 Conversion Kit

This kit will allow you to convert an existing Campagnolo 8 speed cassette to Campagnolo 9 speed for use on a Campagnolo 8 speed freehub body.

You will need:
• Campagnolo 9speed Shifters
• 9 speed Campagnolo chain
• Campagnolo 9 speed derailleur
• 8 speed Campagnolo cassette, PLUS one extra cog. Usually a 16t or 25t, to make up the 9th cog

Due to limited availability of 8 speed components, this kit is only available as a Mail in retrofit. If you have a working 8 speed cassette with a corresponding 9th cog, you can mail in your cassette for rework. We will modify some of the cogs as well as provide new spacers.

Only available direct. $50 for mail in rework.

We need about 10-14 business days to finish the work. Shipping time is normally 3-5 days back to you via UPS. You can include your credit card number with your order if you would rather do it that way. It will be charged when the items are sent back. Make sure to include a note about what you want done with the cassette.

What will I get back?

• 1st position cog machined for 9 speed spacing
• Spacers to put between your other cogs
• Shims for fine tuning cassette position
• Instructions for installation
